Cambridge launched digital exams in June 2026, but this first phase is limited to schools in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Students across Asia, including Nepal, India, Singapore, and Malaysia, are not part of this initial rollout and will continue sitting paper-based exams as usual.
Cambridge's long-term target is for 85% of its high-stakes qualifications to have a digital option by 2033, with a wider global rollout expected from June 2027. For now, Asian students don't need to do anything differently for their 2026 exams.
